Nola Viper Reference |
Viper II, Viper II Plus, and Viper Reference use twin 8-inch low frequency transducers, each in a separate sealed chamber. The chambers are not only separate but of different sizes to provide an improved speed-bandwidth product and a smoother room LF response. The dual woofers provide improved room loading in the lower mid range and mid bass with increased power handling, while maintaining the transparency and transient response of our single woofer systems. A new woofer suspension has been developed for maximum linearity. Both woofers are run in parallel for maximum amplifier control.

The Viper II Plus upgrades the tweeter with a premium dual-ring Alnico magnet system.
The Viper Reference utilizes Alnico magnet systems for the midrange and high frequency drivers for superior sound reproduction. It also features an external crossover to eliminate coloration due to the electric, magnetic and vibrational interactions which occur when mounting a crossover inside the speaker enclosure.
All Viper models feature removable front and rear grilles that allow the Viper the most open sound yet - completely free of obstructions for the midrange and tweeter.
